At times action movies follow the same streotyped direction that makes it difficult to tell a movie apart from another. Extraction is an outlier that has added one more feather into the action genre. Gripping story from the start, it kept me hooked on the screen with the tight direction and realistic action. Initially, from the reviews I assumed that the yellow filter is not done correctly, but not only it is a non-issue (I was watching it with a bit of a sensitivity towards it and it never affected my experience) but it was much needed to present a country of action from the rest of the world. I really enjoyed this movie and hope others do too.
